The ski infrastructure in Pamporovo winter resort, such as ski lifts, will remain at the current prices in the coming winter season. Hotel owners and Pamporovo Ltd company, which operates the infrastructure, came up with this agreement. As a result of the equalised tourism service prices for Bulgarians and foreigners, services in the bigger resorts will become nearly 40 per cent more expensive. Borosport, the company looking after Borovetz infrastructure, said it has not come up with its new tariffs yet. Bansko prices have not been announced yet either, Sega newspaper reported. The expected increase will affect negatively the winter season, tourism agents said. Changes will hurt mostly Bulgarian skiers, either residing in the resorts or visiting only for the weekend. The Vitosha lifts will become more expensive starting November 25. One-way usage will cost 3.50 leva and using the lift in both directions costs six leva. The final prices for other ski infrastructure in Vitosha are not determined yet. The winter season there will open on December 17.
